Did anyone watch the moon on Sunday night? I was waiting until 6 pm, kept jumping up like mad whenever I thought it was getting dark enough and then finally, it was 8 pm. I ran outside to my backyard, looked up, hoping to see the beautiful bright moon and all I saw were... clouds. :(

Remember when these Topshop tights were the bee's knees last year? I actually bought this last year but sadly never got the chance to wear it. My brother took one look at them and dubbed them "stripper stockings" and banned me from wearing them out of the house in case I got raped. True story.

Happy 1st Week Back!

How is everyone's first week back at uni going? Any one have unrealistic goals for the year? I do! Want to scrape up 5 D's and 1 HD this year. Is it possible? Maybe if I actually pick up a book.

But really, if I want to get those grades at uni, I've got to think less about clothes and more about the devil's work/marketing!!! Hope you guys had a good first week back! Lover sale was awesome! My only regret was not buying more! But I managed to restrain myself... Romel was impressed that I only spent $87 this year. Go me!



Also got my Jeffrey Campbell boots from Shopbop. This has been a want since mid last year, finally so happy I got them. Never knew Jefffey Campbell shoe boxes looked this cool, I really don't want to throw mine out.

Hurrah new shoes and new shirt. (Yes, there is a ninja to the right of me, that's an Assassin's Creed poster, which I should ought to remove...)

Oh glorious internet!

IT HAS FINALLY DECIDED TO GRACE ME WITH IT'S PRESENCE! And it returned as mysteriously as it vanished. We tried EVERYTHING to get it back, and nothing worked, then wooosh, one day, it was JUST HERE. So I suppose this means, we're BACK ON BUSINESS, WOOT.


For my 21st, I treated myself with this dslr! Oh, how I love it so!


Oh, but onto other things, the lovely Kiki Chaos nominated me for an award eons ago (Thank you so much!) and I've already done one of these before, but here we go, another round of 7 (quick) things about me:
1. I cry over reality television, really easily. I could be walking past the tv, set on Idol, and see a contestant sob over how they've been voted out and I'd still break down and cry. Biggest Loser for me is an endless cry fest.

2. I want to start an etsy store. Currently making bow badges and knitted heart badges to sell.

3. I really want to be a buyer when I graduate from uni.

4. I work in your very Australian menswear store as a casual. ;)

5. I've been with my boyfriend for 4 years... I think. I'm losing count lol.

6. I thought I was adopted when I was in grade 1 because everyone in my family had five letters in their name and I had seven. (Vanessa is my whole name :P)

7. As a kid, I would fake sick so I could stay home to watch Art Attack. I even once made a turtle out of clay, wrapped it up in tissues, got some FRAGILE warning stickers and stuck it all over it and tried to get my parents to send it into the show.

And that's it! I'd nominate people but not sure who to nominate, seeing as I've done this before, plus I've been away from internet for so long... I suppose, anyone who wants to do it this time round. :) To the people who have stuck by this blog during my absence, thanks so much! A big warm fuzzy hello!

HI HI HI HI HI HI EVERYONE!

Silly internet! It decided to die like a few days after my last post, and we've tried EVERYTHING to fix it, right down to technician dudes installing a new network thingy majicky in our neighborhood AND ALAS! *hand to forehead* NOTHING! *gasp*

*stabs internet with pick axe* Just kidding! I still have no internet now, actually, just using my brother's broadband sticky thingy, while he's at work.

Please don't laugh at me here, my aunt was taking my photo and telling me how to pose and now I look like a mighty queen in this one ANYWAY.

Also bought an SLR, will be using that soon, if I can install the freaking software! Stupid laptop won't let me install a thing! Anyway, off topic, but I miss you all, fellow bloggers, and will be looking at all of your blogs right after this! :) :) :) Have a good day!

Packages as of late.

See what exams do? It made me online shop like I've never online shopped before.

I got this coffin enormous box from Urban Outfitters. Teddy wanted to join in the excitement.

Of course, he was too short and thus, used books to get to the top of it.

New me, new closet.

The moment I finished exams, havoc and chaos ensued and I enjoyed doing absolutely nothing for a week... hence the absence from this blog...

And I really wish I was joking when I said this is my closet. Well... it is.

I folded everything up into the shelves and about 2 nights later, hurray, it's all tidy again! And what do we have here? More space in the closet? *goes shopping*

Amidst the closet cleaning, I found this really pretty vintage dress I once scabbed from somewhere I don't remember. Sorry, the photo doesn't do it justice. :( I don't think I'll wear this though, so now I'm not sure what to do with it! Ebay?

I think I'm going bat sh*t insane over these exams.

I thought the new Sportsgirl catalogue was talking to me...

Oh right, of course, it wasn't talking to me.

I've also painted every single nail a different colour and every time I've been out this week, I either get weird looks or compliments, that I'm not sure were meant to be sarcastic... This time next week, hell is over!

Clemence Poesy as Eva on Gossip Girl.

Oh, how I adored Clemence Poesy's outfits on Gossip Girl. Nice and simple, but very feminine and summery. Most of the outfits she wore involved full skirts, and it's so pretty and flattering.

I don't usually go into Valleygirl, but out of boredom today, I popped in and found this cute number! On the sale rack, last one, in my size. (Someone out there is looking after me.) Aside from my attempt to be Gossip Girl last time, leading to the white tights fiasco, I think I may have a better shot this time.

Very pretty, no? I'm surprised, my first Valleygirl gem.

Now off to find the perfect pink (or is it peach?) blouse to match it.
